Today I have a new review for you, La Roche-Posay Hydreane Extra Riche which is a moisturizing cream for sensitive, dry to very dry skin.
About the companyBy exploring, together with over 25,000 dermatologists throughout the world, the main fields of dermatology, from skin and scalp care to make-up and aesthetic correction, La Roche-Posay creates new generations of dermatological skincare products formulated with La Roche-Posay thermal spring water designed to improve patients’ quality of life.
While the range was first developed with complementary therapy products, to be used in conjunction with treatments prescribed by dermatologists for the main consultation problems (acne, eczema, atopy, etc.), it soon extended to daily skincare products (sensitive skin, anti-ageing, dehydrated skin, irritated skin, etc.), shampoos and make-up (foundation, eyes, etc.), suitable for sensitive skin. Finally to keep up with the move in dermatology towards aesthetic correction, La Roche-Posay now has a range of corrective procedures with professional peeling reserved for the clinic and aesthetic peri-procedure skincare. For every skin need, La Roche-Posay therefore provides a suitable skincare and make-up solution to transform the daily life of even sensitive skin every day.

FeelingNow, I'm sure you'll wonder, don't I have normal to combination skin? Yes, it's true. But, as I told you, during last week I was down with a cold which means that the area around my nose and mouth was so dry and sensitive it was peeling off. Yikes, I know. But, on the other hand, it was the perfect chance to test this cream! And it did impress me! Because when I'm sick the only products that can touch my face without making me jump from pain are really greasy products. Well, I was very happy to discover that that this face cream is perfect for sensitive and very dry skin. It's rich and very moisturising, yet not oily at all! What this means feeling-wise is that when I touch my skin I can feel the cream moisturising me but my face is not shiny at all. The cream is there, you can feel it but nobody can see it. I guess this is why La Roche-Posay suggests to use this cream also as a make up base. It works great this way, it moisturises throughout the day without letting oiliness become visible and ruin your foundation.
Hardly noticeable light and fresh flowery scent.
Summary: 4,5/5It's your basic moisturising face cream and it works great! I'll definitely try the one for normal/combination skin! I also love that it has no parabens in it! I'd like some spf in it but I think sunscreen can cause irritation to sensitive skin so maybe this is the reason why. All in all, a great quality moisturising face cream!
Would I recommend it?Yes! If your skin is sensitive and dry, you just found your basic daily cream.
Where can you find it/CostWhere La Roche-Posay is sold.
For Greece: pharmacies, online pharmacies and big beauty stores.
And a side note, if you want to try it you'd better hurry because it's now available for a lower price, €14.90 ;)
